SWIDT on tour!

SWIDT are hitting the road in October for their first ever headline tour of New Zealand.

Presented by Eccles Entertainment and Mai FM, the tour will see the award-winning Onehunga hip hop collective playing the four major centres, beginning with Ubar in Dunedin on October 5, followed by San Fran, Wellington (October 6), The Studio, Auckland (October 12) and The Empire, Christchurch (October 13).

PNC: Sam Hansen Q&A

Taking his moniker from his home town of Palmerston North, Sam Hansen – aka PNC – is one of Aotearoa’s most respected rappers.

He first came to prominence in 2003 with his underground hit ‘Day In The Life’ and he released his debut album Rookie Card three years later. As well as collaborating with local luminaries such as Scribe, David Dallas, State Of Mind and Che Fu, PNC has writing credits on a number of Top 10 singles, including two #1’s from P-Money.

We caught up with PNC on the eve of the release of his fourth studio album The Codes.
