Ha the Unclear is hitting the road in August to promote their upcoming album Invisible Lines.
The short national tour kicks off in Christchurch on the day the Dunedin outfit’s sophomore set is released and will conclude with two Melbourne dates in early September.
Ha The Unclear – Michael Cathro (vocals/guitar), Ben Sargeant (drums), Paul Cathro (bass) and Theo Francis (guitar) – have also shared a new track from Invisible Lines (Woollen Records/ Rhythmethod) entitled ‘Stuck In My Head’.
“When I wrote Stuck In My Head I’d been thinking a lot about empathy, and subjectivity,” says Cathro. “For a while, I was chewing on this particular thought about what the closest I could ever be to someone else would be, in a shared experience kind of way, and how we are alone in our own minds. At the time it was equally funny and lonely, and I had this strange sensation of being constrained by the bounds of my body so that’s what the lyric came out of.”
