Shayne Carter reunion shows

in News by

Shayne Carter has reconvened Straitjacket Fits and Dimmer for another series of shows.

The Flying Nun icon first reassembled the band line-ups for the Kings Arms farewell concerts and they are now returning for four more dates at the end of November and early December.

The Fits line up will be the same that appeared at the Kings Arms show with Carter joined by drummer John Collie, guitarist Mark Petersen, plus Dimmer members James Duncan and Vaughan Williams, who will be filling in on bass for original bassist David Wood, who passed away in 2010. Dimmer will also play a set on their own.

Dates are: November 30: Dunedin, Captain Cook; December 1: Christchurch, The Foundry; December 7: Wellington, Meow; December 8 – Auckland, Powerstation.
