Live dates for reconvened Fabulous/Arabia

Lawence Arabia and Mike Fabulous – aka Lord Echo – are dipping their toes back into the water with their side project Fabulous/Arabia.

The duo – whose debut album Unlimited Buffet was released in 2011 – have announced two July live date in support of the upcoming release of their first new song in seven years ‘Henry’.

Fabulous/Arabia will play Wellington’s Meow on July 27 and the Common Room in Hastings on July 27, with the pair joined on stage by their band of ’Boogie Boys’: Tom Watson and Hayden Eastmond-Mein from the Lawrence Arabia band, Riki Gooch (Cave Circles) and Toby Laing (Fat Freddy’s Drop).

Meanwhile, Lawrence Arabia has also released the latest song in his ongoing singles club project. ‘Everybody Wants Something’is described as being about the “the perils of connectivity” and features Ryan McPhun and Eliza-Jane Barnes on drums and vocals, respectively.
