Vallé – the new moniker for Christchurch urban artist Enjalas Jenkinson – has just released his debut single ‘Love Me’.
The single, which was co-produced with 10A (aka Tenei Kesha) and recorded at his home studio in St Albans, is describe by the singer as a “song is about unpacking the pain as opposed to telling the world how to fix themselves”.
“I believe the fixing sometimes happens unintentionally, as we open up and become vulnerable,” Vallé continues. “This is what I aimed to do by creating this song.”
Jenkinson, who previously recorded under the moniker Enjalas, is also full of praise for the work of James Murray on the video for ‘Love Me’.
“The dude is a creative genius,” he says. “He truly brought the song to a whole other level of life.”
