Tiny Ruins unveils Olympic Girls

in Industry by

Tiny Ruins has confirmed a February 1 release for her much anticipated third album Olympic Girls.

The singer-songwriter – aka Hollie Fullbrook – has also shared the title track from the new LP, which will be released through her own label Ursa Minor in NZ. The music video for ‘Olympic Girls’ was directed by Charlotte Evans and premiered on the US-based site Stereogum.

The follow-up to 2015’s acclaimed Brightly Painted One, the third LP from Tiny Ruins was produced by bandmate Tom Healy at The Lab’s Paquin Studios and was made over a “drawn out period of spontaneity and experimentation spanning a year”.

Olympic Girls will be handled in Australia by Milk! Records (AU), Ba Da Bing (U.S.) and Marathon Artists (UK / EU).

The album announcement coincides with the start of Tiny Ruins latest NZ headline tour featuring the full band, which kicked off in Christchurch last night. Fullbrook will then head to Australia in November for a solo tour with fellow Milk! Records artist Jen Cloher.
