Fleetwood Mac’s Kiwi connection

in Industry by

Kiwi audiences will get the chance to see Neil Finn in Fleetwood Mac later this year, with the rock legends announcing three live dates for September.

The band will play two shows at Auckland’s Spark Arena on September 16 and 19, along with one at Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin on September 21.

The tour will feature the current incarnation of Fleetwood Mac: Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Stevie Nicks and Christine McVie, along with newcomers Finn and Mike Campbell, formerly with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.

“Fleetwood Mac has always been about an amazing collection of songs that are performed with a unique blend of talents,” says Fleetwood. “We jammed with Mike and Neil and the chemistry really worked and let the band realise that this is the right combination to go forward with in Fleetwood Mac style. We know we have something new, yet it’s got the unmistakable Mac sound.”

Presales being on January 22, with tickets going on general release three days later.
